Just an FYI for all participants: Since my SL is sidelined, needing a new fan clutch among other things, I plan to pack the ML with some useful things for the event:

race jack

jack stands

torque wrench

air compressor & air filler/gauge - accurate to .5 lb.

extension cords

jumper cables - [God forbid]

various metric wrenches [again, God forbid

MB coolant - I've only got about 1.5 gallons, so no boil-overs!!

and of course, coolers, water and ICE.

PS: as an incentive to show up on time, I'm bringing 6 dozen Lamar's Donuts - we'll have coffee pots on, too. Get there on time or the BMW club guys will be on them donuts like a horde of locusts on a wheat field!!

Jeff and Denise just left our house with a fully loaded CRV. We packed the goodie bags for the participants this evening.
