Winter Gala
I wanted to put out a quick heads-up for the upcoming Winter Gala. Save the date, January 28, 2012, for a celebration of the section's accomplishments and activities of 2011. As part of the festivities, we've arranged to give away a signed, numbered print by local artist Dana Forrester to one lucky attendee of the Winter Gala.
The print is of the old and the new: the all-time classic 300SL and the new SLS AMG. The picture does not do the print justice - AND - we've had this print professionaly matted and framed. This and a number of other door prizes will be awarded as part of the Winter Gala's festivities.
Invitations were mailed to every Kansas City Section member.
Please RSVP no later than January 15th. 
I hope to see you all on January 28th!

| 1982 Mercedes Benz 300D |

It is a 1982 Mercedes Benz 300D turbo diesel with 98,000 miles in good condition. I am the third owner; I purchased the car from my brother in 2009.
It has a new battery and alternator (2010). It has been well maintained and service records dating back to 1986 are available. The original window sticker is also available.
Work has been done to correct transmission and oil leaks; however, slight leakage still exists. The car's cruise control is not functioning. The car is equipped with a Clarion AM/FM radio/CD player. There is also a trunk mounted 10 disc CD changer. Other details are available upon request. The price is $4,000 OBO.
