Jayne Dillard (you might remember her from the last couple of Breafast meetings) has a 1985 380SE for sale. She called me and asked that I list it for her in these classifieds. According to her, it was her late husband's pride and joy, and is in "excelent condition". Only 66,500 miles, and looks very much like the included photograph. Trying to find someone in the Wichata,Ks area that is fond of older Benz. My '77' is just sitting the garage getting older. It needs some TLC, which I can no longer handle. Am hoping to find someone nearby that would be interested in making an educated, reasonable offer and new home for my little orange two seater....

This is a wonderful car. It has been my daily driver for the last 70,000 miles and has never failed me! It has been compulsively maintained. All repair records available.New Michelins with less than 5000 miles. Interior is so nice it could easily be a show car. Has a door-ding driver front door (photo) and a small rust spot bottom of passenger rear door (photo). It is the peppiest mercedes diesel I have ever owned or driven. Everything works to my knowledge.Averages about 28 MPG. It is a strong, safe car and would be good for a teenager. Has never had any body damage or repairs.Paint shiny and pretty but some cobwebbing starting to show so really could use a new paint job unless you only plan on it being a driver. Has all the options available for that year, sunroof, cruise control, A/C, Becker radio with tape player. Upgraded to 1985 wheels.Includes nice sheepskins. Hate to sell her, but just bought a later model so have too many cars! |
